Charming vintage style and character.
My arrival at the Hotel Continental Lima was disheartening. The door was locked when I got there at 10 PM. The room itself was not in good shape-it had a musky smell and felt unclean, very disappointing. During breakfast, the limited offerings ran out too quickly, and only one staff member was working, leading to an unorganized and frustrating experience.

The location to a museum and historic sites set walking distance to the hotel was great and incredible. I ate at a bright restaurant for its great breakfast.

A huge variety of outstanding food, we thoroughly enjoyed it. Its location was magnificent, right by Plaza San Martin, Historical Centre, Shopping areas, supermarket and Artesan Markets in Santo Domingo and San Francisco and the historical center:)))

The location is AMAZING! Just minutes from both historical sites and modern malls. I loved the breakfast too 🍳 On the downside, the bathroom could use some updating.

Perfect, stunning location in Lima Historic Centre district not far from Plaza de Armas, Chifa barrio, and several markets, a taxi and other attractions. Also, in the historical centre.
Kind of small room.

Breakfast was nice yet eclectic
We had to change the room three times and still was dump. Staying at the storic part of the city is a mistake. The only way is in Miraflores just for one day.

The location near the historic district made it easy to explore Lima. My room was spacious with a nice sitting area, providing comfort after a long day. The nearly king-size bed had good support. Staff were really helpful. One even showed me nearby dining options, a nice touch. The bathroom needed some updating-the lighting was annoyingly dim was great. Breakfast could be improved. Limited options focused on sandwiches and hard-boiled eggs. Not everything was super clean either, as I noticed a bit of dust in corners. The noise from the street could be disruptive at night, particularly on weekends, so bringing earplugs is a great idea.

Perfect and safe location in Lima historic centre. The breakfast was really nice with a lot to choose from and the room was really big and comfortable! And really cheap as well, I will definitely stay in this hotel again when in Lima.

In central Lima there are very few hotels to choose. The best choices are in the Miraflores district. I had to stay only one night due to an overnight flight connection and wanted to walk around downtown Lima so I booked this hotel. Considering it is a three stars hotel with a very convenient rate, premises and services are ok.
At night rooms are quite noisy due to people walking around in the streets and heavy traffic.

The staff was very helpful
The online booking stated that an airport shuttle service was avalible.Which the hotel did set up for us when we arrived at the airport, However there was a charge for this of 30 soles, which was ok. But when we needed to return to the airport on our last night (and after the hotels night bells men giving the taxi driver money) the taxi charged us 70soles when we got to the airport!!!!!! Not happy with that. All we had was 60...Based on this I will not refer anyone or return to this hotel.
